You may update your Spotify email by modifying your profile, which you must do from an internet browser. If you created your Spotify account with a Facebook login, though, you can’t change it.

Because your account was established using Facebook, you will not be able to disconnect it. Don’t worry, we’ll clear up your email address so you can establish a new account. We’ll then move all of your tracks and student information over once you’ve completed that.

To disable your Facebook login, go to Spotify and select the down arrow next to your name. To stop linking your Spotify account, go to Settings Privacy Apps and Websites Spotify app Remove Remove.

Click on the down arrow next to your name in Spotify’s top right corner. Scroll down to Social and click the blue Connect To Facebook button. Authorize Facebook to connect to Facebook. Voila, you’ve altered your display name on Spotify.

You can’t change your username on Spotify because it’s intended to identify you. You don’t need your username to sign in. Instead, use your email address and password, or log in using the method you used to register Facebook, Apple, or your phone number instead of your username.
